Our Story

Hi, we’re Calum & Andy, co-founders of Moonshot. We like to think of ourselves as passionate playmakers – driven by the belief that social connection and play are essential elements for human flourishment. We’ve been crafting traditional hospitality brands together for nearly 20 years. In 2020, we transitioned our focus into immersive entertainment through the creation of Moonshot’s sister brand, Sixes Social Cricket and we haven’t looked back.

For many years, we’d noticed that both sport and hospitality hold a similar ability to unite and delight people for good times shared and we’d always wondered why the two weren’t more integrated for the ultimate social experience. So back in the depths of Covid lockdown, we set out on a mission to re-imagine much loved sports and activities within glorious hospitality settings for the modern socialite. In a world where people had become increasingly sequestered from one another (busy lives, remote working, screens!), we were excited to craft great experiences that brought us back together for good old fashioned fun!

Having launched Sixes in the US in 2023, we became fixated on bringing the US’s most loved sport back to UK shores in a similar style concept. Moonshot is about so much more than the iconic baseball batting. Moonshot embodies everything we love about American sport and mindset. The adrenaline, the camaraderie, the scale, the thrill, the connection. Rather like Cricket in the US, we know it isn’t for everyone…yet. But we’re pretty sure once people experience the buzz of Moonshot, they’ll be hooked!
